Milwaukee Art Museum
The mission of the Milwaukee Art Museum is to collect and preserve art, and to present it to the community as a vital source of inspiration and education.
Description
Lakefront Festival of Art is the Museum’s biggest outdoor event. I am looking for volunteers to be both inside the Museum as well as outside. Volunteer positions inside the Museum include Greeting and Gallery Heads which can be seated or standing. Outdoor Festival positions include Admissions, Membership, Booth Sitting and Silent Auction which are standing positions.
Schedule:
Friday, June 12th (9am-7pm), Saturday, June13th (9am-7pm), Sunday, June 14th (9am-5pm)
NOTE: This opportunity is condensed and can only provide 28 hours total if all three dates are attended. Students are still required to complete 10 hours of service and have a signed contract turned in before the midterm date – June 12th. This may be a better fit for students looking for a short-term option that can fill in some extra hours.
