Neighborhood House of Milwaukee

We inspire discovery in children and families of all backgrounds to become lifelong learners and confident leaders among their peers, families and communities.

Description

Featured Placement

Neighborhood House of Milwaukee has an exciting array of opportunities focused on arts education and visual/digital design. Opportunities include leading youth art projects for ages 3-17 year old, designing media for various special events, and helping with social media campaigns. There are also opportunities available for the nature trail located northeast of Oconomowoc (in Waukesha county.)

Volunteer shifts: Every day 10am - 5:30pm

Assistance in our social media strategy-- coming up with posts for Facebook and Instagram (and perhaps LinkedIn) that follow our social media weekly calendar. Students will get our strategy, come tour our facility to get content ideas, and come up with daily posts to build our social media audiences. Content should reflect our mission and vision, as well as reflect the community we serve.

Background checks required for all volunteers.
