Featured Placement
Bulletin board design and installation: Working with classroom teachers to build their bulletin boards for summer and fall. This includes planning with teachers, creating design and making images with a full installation plan or installing if applicable. Assist with Summer ArtToss program: Create samples for students to use as inspiration, teacher or assist with teaching the art units. Assisting with float design and installation for Juneteenth , working directly with Teen Supervisor and youth to create flow for June 19th parade.
Schedule: primarily Tuesdays, contact for more information
Background checks required for all volunteers, as well as fingerprinting and a TB test. Free TB testing is offered through the Marquette clinic, and the hours spent getting a TB test can be added to your volunteer hour total.
