Description

The volunteer(s) who take on this opportunity will assist the Life Enrichment Department during activities and outings. Volunteer duties include escorting residents to and from activities, accompanying residents during activities, and assisting the Life Enrichment Department with the execution of activities. Activities include dance classes with Milwaukee’s renowned Danceworks, monthly birthday celebrations, ceramics workshops, music therapy, interactive trivia, bingo, movie nights, art projects and more. Residents also enjoy enriching outings such as shopping trips, dining experiences, theater visits, professional sports events, and summer boating excursions.

Scheduling:
Monday-Sunday 9am-7pm

Note: All volunteers must have a background check and be tested for tuberculosis. Volunteers must also have a flu shot for the current flu season. (TB testing and flu shots are free through the Marquette Health Clinic for all full-time MIAD students)
